An offline teleprompter that keeps scripts on your device

Most teleprompter tools run in a browser or sync your scripts to a server. That's convenient, but it means your words pass through — and often sit on — someone else's infrastructure. Lumi's desktop apps take the opposite approach: your scripts are stored on your device, and the app works fully offline. There's no privacy toggle to remember, because there's no upload in the first place.

That matters most when the script is sensitive — an unreleased product pitch, a legal or medical read, anything under NDA. With an offline, on-device prompter, the material simply never leaves the machine.

Use the desktop app on Mac or Windows when offline use and on-device scripts are the priority. If you'd rather work from any machine with no install, the online teleprompter runs in your browser with your account — it needs a connection, but it's there when convenience wins. Same app, two ways in.
